Due to an increase in usage of the Free Tier EU Mendix Cluster, new customers are experiencing slowdowns in the creation of application environments. As a result of this slowdown the initial publish may timeout. Customers will see an error "FAILED_DEPLOYMENT". To (partially) remedy this, we will upgrade the backend database for our free tier cluster. This is not the application database, but the database used by one of our internal services.
During the maintenance period, customers will not be able to create new applications. In a few cases, when the application went to sleep, customers may experience downtime.
